Having a great time here at the Musket Cove Regatta week. The weather is gorgeous. We have met fun people from mainly from New Zealand and Australia. There are also two other British. A lot of time is spent around the Island bar on the beach but we have done other activities as well! We took a speed boat trip with a friend and went snorkeling on Honeymoon island. Beautiful coral and bright blue starfish. The colour of the water in shallow waters is beautifully turquoise. We stopped at Castaway island for a drink before returning to Musket. These islands all belong to the Mamanuca group.
Last Saturday was fun. We got invited to join a group of people on the same speed boat we took previously to go to Beachcomber island for the regatta's Pirate day. Everybody was dressed as a pirate and there were lots of water balloon fights
between boats along the way. Beacomber is a little island surrounded by white sand in the middle of the bay between Vuda and Musket. BBQ party at lunch time, dancing and a lot of laughs.
In the evening we all gather at the beach bar and either buy dinner, cook our own on huge wood bbq provided by the resort or bring our own. It is very social and pleasant.
Life is good and all is well
