Since we left the Kingdom of Tonga we have had the
same weather pattern: flat calms followed by strong winds then back to
motorsailing etc.
We had to motorsail all night but right now we are
on a broad reach, 20kts of wind, averaging 7kts of boat speed.
300nm to go. We expect to be in Whangarei on
Sunday.
Water tank is empty and
watermaker refuses to work. We still have 40ltrs of water in
jerricans and loads of bottled water so we are ok.
Port electric winch doesn't work either so back on
manual.
All good onboard.
