Arrived in Cape May, New Jersey at about 16:00
today after 3 days and 2 nights at sea from Wrightsville. Apart from a few hours
during the first night where we had gusts up to 35 knots and
impressive lightening from the electrical storm as well as torrential
rain, the rest of the trip was very calm indeed. No winds to speak off and flat
seas. So we have been motoring all the way. Saw loads of dolphins again and a
few turtles.
Haven't seen much of Cape May yet but the boys are
out exploring now whilst I am getting their dinner ready (!).
We will leave tomorrow at around midday and do an
overnight passage to New York!
Everybody on board is quite excited at the idea of
seeing the Statue of Liberty from our boat!.
Spoke to Emma and Jamie today. It was so nice to
hear their voices. They are now in their new house and Baby Jay is doing
well. Can't wait to see him.
Mike far from being 100% fit again but hopefully
slowly getting there.
Next blog from New York...
Love and hugs
