All good onboard. The wind has dropped down to
10kts so our progress is slow. But it is a pleasant sail.
No luck on the fishing front yesterday I'm
afraid!
We have got in our routine for night watches. Mike
does 20:00 to 00:00, I do 00:00 to 04:00 and mike does 04:00 to
08:00
We haven't seen any life in the ocean so far, no
dolphins nor whales.
There are a few other boats around us but we cannot
see them. We listen to an afternoon Net on SSB where all the boats
report to and that's how we know that we are not alone on the water! Most of
them go to American Samoa before going to Tonga. We prefer to sail straight to
Tonga.
Mike spoke to his Mum today. She is safely back in
her room in Dunfermline after her 3 months spent in Hove. She sounded well if
not a bit tired by the travelling.
More tomorrow
