Slow first day and night. Not much wind at all. We
hoisted the spinnaker yesterday afternoon but had to take it down due to lack of
wind. A bit later we managed to hold the MPS up for a few hours and averaged 5
kts. The current is helping us.
The wind died progressively during the night. we
struggled along at 3kts.The atmosphere was very humid because of some clouds.
Loads of stars in the sky. No traffic on the water.
Our friends from JACANA are not very far from us
although of course we can't see each other. But we keep contact via email
because we can't transmit with our SSB. We think the microphone is
broken.
Cloudy morning to start with but now all blue sky
and hot.
We saw several large pods of dolphins. These ones
are the big size dolphins. The water being so clear, we can watch them really
well playing with the boat. Magnificent. We also see seals around.
Long gentle Pacific swells.
All is well
Love
Mike and Catherine
