Very quick note to let you know that we have arrived in Bora Bora. Good sail from Raiatea, about 4 hours, with 20 to 25 kts of wind mainly on the beam. It is the first good sail we had since we left Tahiti! We only had flat calms so far!

It looks like the wind is dying out a bit this week which will be good to explore the area. It is very pretty here, despite the bad press about the overload of hotel resorts.

Internet access worse than anywhere else we have been though. But I will do my best to put photos on the next blog.

We intend to stay here for a week and sail to Tonga as soon as the weather looks favourable.

Nice and sunny. We are sitting at a beautiful bar sipping a Mojito, toasting to Mami who is having her 81^st Birthday today! Also toasting to Irene, another Birthday girl.
