As promised, here are some photos of:
Rockport and Gloucester where there was a Schooner
festival
New York
Georgetown, Chesapeake
We had a good day today in Georgetown where we
arrived mid-morning. Picked up a nice mooring (photo attached). The marina lent
us bicycles and we cycled to Galena - where nothing much happens! - but a
beautiful countryside and lovely houses. Then we went for lunch at a pub
overlooking the river and cycled back to Galena to do our grocery
shopping.
Back on board Mike went up the mast as we had a
forestay problem which he has now brilliantly fixed. We had to take
the gib down because it is ripped due to the forestay problem and
need repairing and put up the second smaller gib we had bought for the transat
but never used.
We are now enjoying a nice evening in the
cockpit.
Tomorrow we will be heading for
Baltimore.
