The EJ's Voyage

Calm night last night so we could all have a good night sleep! We went ashore yesterday afternoon, There is a lovely walkway through the mangroves that opens onto the other side of the island on a beautiful white sandy beach. There is a little resort with a bar - where we drank some delicious mojitos - a restaurant and a few guests cottages.

We are re anchored closer to the shore near the mangroves and hope it will be a good shelter for the next front forecast for tomorrow.

We are all (the New Zealand boat and the Canadian one, 8 people total) going to the beach at lunch time for a BBQ.Our freezer has packed up so we need to cook our sausages! The weather is beautiful today.

Unfortunately the forecast is not great with 2 more fronts to come in the next few days.

We would like to get to the Caymans as soon as we can to sort our fridge out etc. Mike is cleaning the carburettor of the outboard right now as it has clogged up and doesn't want to start. He has cooked it in lemon juice... Will tell you later if it worked!

Love
