Motorsailing all the way from Great Barrier islands back to Marsden Cove marina, Whangarei. 8 to 10 knots of wind, calm sea but grey sky. A few dolphins came to play with the boat for a few minutes. It is never tiring looking at them, they are so beautiful. We left Port Fitzroy just before 8am and were docked in the marina at 3pm. A good trip.

Our friend Stuart from "Beyond" was on the quay to take up our mooring lines. He and his Argentinian girlfriend Aurora came for dinner onboard. We had a very jolly evening!

Mike is busy trying to fix the watermaker (!) and also installing new piping in the bilges for the central heating. An awkward job but it is almost finished now. I have been busy with endless bags of laundry and various cleaning tasks.

Weather still nice and sunny. Chilly mornings and evenings.
