Hi from falbala on our 17th day at sea. We are now getting closer each day, and now we are guessing when exactly we will cross the finish line, my own guess is late Mon afternoon.  Ollie is working his guess out with great precision, hoping to win the huge cash prize he reckons is on offer. We have put our clocks back another hour, this caught Jamie out good style last night, he came up from below 30 minutes early, complaining that we had not shouted him in time for his watch, Ollie explained that he was in fact early, when he realised his mistake he said something like 'arse' and promptly fell asleep on the seat locker. After our failure at fishing yesterday the skipper had the lines out before sunrise today in the hope of a big one, as yet we have nothing but it is still early. Talking of fish, we ate more of the first monster last night, it was so big that we still got loads left. Weather is good today with a run through the night of around 7 knts average, nice fluffy clouds - a good sign of fair weather. We passed two other yachts yesterday, both to the north of us, but today we are on our own with no sign of any others. Mike has been in contact with Gulliver and we should be sighting them in a couple of days with the intention of finishing together, they may need a hand due to their steering problems.
Before I sign off, a big happy birthday to my mum back on the Isle of Man , 92 today - well done mum and I'll see you soon.

Take care y'all         Scutch.
