Getting closer to the Marquesas! Hopefully we will
get there on Thursday.
The sea is rocking us a lot since yesterday. But
the wind is fairly constant so we move along nicely.
The spinnaker was hoisted yesterday
afternoon. We had a great sail for about 3 hours until the port sheet
broke and the kite went up flying. So in went the spinnaker and up again when we
reattached the sheet. A few minutes later we noticed a little tear at the top of
the sail so we quickly took in down again. Mike repaired it this morning. The
major repair that he did the other day held up well. He is so talented, isn't
he?
Otherwise all good here. No more fishing
success so far but we ate some of our Wahoo last night with a banana curry
sauce that I made. It really was delicious.
