The EJ's Voyage

A bit of a frustrating day today. One of those when everything seem to go wrong. It started with the fridge and freezer that stop working for no apparent reason. Mike worked quite a few hours on it and because he is a hero, managed to get them to work again. Won't bore you with the technical details but I can assure you that it is a long story!

He also cleaned the bilges which were filthy with oil and started to get smelly. That was a horrible job and our poor captain was covered in black oil himself.

He also did a few other little jobs and it is only now, at 5pm that he has stopped working and is taking a well deserved shower.

I have been baking bread and getting dinner ready for our guests tonight. Had a swim around the boat with the seals and rays and other fish.

It was nice to get a call from my Mum and then one from Jamie. It is always so lovely to hear their voices and to have news from home.

Thank you all of you who got worried about us and sent us emails. Some of you don't understand why we can send this blog and not have internet access. That's because the blog is sent via our Iridium satellite phone which does not allow us Internet access.

We will try to get a connection when we are on land so we can post you photos of where we are.

Happy Birthday to my brother Marc!

Love
Mike and Catherine
