We arrived in Palma on Wednesday evening, after a rather tiring passage from San Antonio. Only 75nm, but mostly into steep seas, and motoring into the wind and seas. However, the wind shifted sufficiently to enable us to sail for the last 4 hours of our 14 hour passage.

Thursday we spent cleaning and sorting the boat out on our berth at Real Club Nautico, in Palma. Stunning marina, with 850 berths. Not as expensive as we had been lead to believe. A mere Euro 251 for three nights.  Moored stern too, and using our new passerell.

Our friends Michael & Anne Hartshorn arrived on Thursday night. Arriving one hour earlier than was scheduled due to the early arrival of their flight. Completely caught us out! Still we managed to have a mini party in the cockpit, and the wine cellar we  3 bottles lighter by the time we went to bed at 0200.

Yesterday we played tourists. We walked for miles around the city, and spent quite a lot of time in the amazing Gothic Cathedral.

Off for more of the same now…………………
