The good news is there is nothing much to tell about our last 24 hours, as we plod across the “Pond”.

No technical issues to deal with today (hooray), and reasonable weather albeit somewhat less wind. There continues to be line squalls, so we have to take care not to be over canvassed when they are about as the speed with which the wind velocity can change is nothing short of remarkable.

One of the things about being out here is that all you can see is, well err, sea! So the scale of natural phenomena is not compromised the way it is on land, with all of man’s paraphernalia and clutter. So you get the opportunity to see COMPLETE, rainbows.

Truly beautiful and dramatic in the “flesh”.

So today was spent mostly reading, writing, sleeping, fishing (no joy there today), chatting, eating and drinking… Ginger beer and Coke. Oh, and I was allowed one Guinness, This is partly because we have rather a lot of tins of the stuff on boat, and I tend not to drink it when it is warm or hot weather. So,  Jennie is happy to see it consumed, before we spend the next 18 to 20 months in hot climates. But at one tin a day, it will be some time………….

Last 24 hours run was quite respectable at 151NM, but we can do better! 1256NM to go……………………
