We are off

It was a cool sultry morning, when we arose at 0630. We departed the marina at around 0820 this morning. Then around to the wall fuel berth at RCN. No wind to speak of so the mooring there wasn’t too hard.  Finally departed La Coruna at 0840 BST this morning out for Biscay. Little or no wind still (10.54), and what there is, is on the nose. Our current position is 43 degrees 36 mins north, 8 degrees 27 mins west.

Seen several sun fish so far, but no Dolphins or whales yet. We are under engine in smooth seas, making 7 knots. We expect to arrive in St Mary’s in 72 hours. However we shall be monitoring the weather, and if it does not look good for the Scilly Isles we shall head for Falmouth or Helford River.

More up dates as we go.
