This island was different again. Still mountainous but much more arid and with some fantastic pinnacle rocks that are rarely seen completely free of cloud.

A photograph for the geographers and vulcanologists …….. the vent holes where lava had come up through the other rock, as though it was smoke through a chimney, were really clear.
