We are at anchor in Salinas on the south coast of Puerto Rico for a couple of days of shopping, wifi, laundry and fuel.  All very different again as we are surrounded by mangrove and can’t actually see the sea at all.  We came in along a narrow channel showing precisely zero on the depth gauge but with no telltale scrapes or judders so we didn’t actually make contact with the bottom.

Tuesday and Wednesday we will sail to the town of Boqueron on the west coast.  Very lovely apparently so we will stay there for a couple of days, hire a car and explore.

All for now, back to the laundry.
