Finally we drop anchor in the place we were aiming for in the first place!

Having taken the scenic route via Puerto Rico we have just completed a 30 hour passage from Boqueron, Puerto Rico to Caneel Bay on the island of St John. As expected from the forecasts we had wind on the nose the whole way but not a lot of it so the sea state was fairly flat.  We simply put the engine on and drove here.

Will sort ourselves and the boat out and hopefully do some laundry.  Once we are organised we will head along the north coast of the island for a bit of Caribbean life anchoring in pretty bays snorkelling and exploring the National Park on land as well.

That’s the plan anyhow but as we know, events may take us in another direction!
