Ballast Bay, St Kitts

For some unavoidable reasons and some good reasons we ended up staying more or less full time in Antigua for 2 ½ months so we were very happy to get on the move again.  An early start and full day sail to St Kitts. 

Sleep, early start again and on to Ile de Forchue at the north end of St Barts.  A fairly rough passage with the waves and swell reminding us we were not at anchor anymore!

We decided to take a rest day to recover in the lovely surroundings of Ile de Forchue.  Then an early start and on to anchor outside the Simpson Bay Lagoon, in the Dutch half of the island of St Maarten.  The other half of the island is French!
