We had excellent deck cushions that coped with water, suncream and all the other hazards of life in the cockpit but they were pretty small and hard so not great for longer passages when a bit more comfort would be nice.  Plush cushions are pretty pricey and then you worry about them getting spoiled so cheap and cheerful is the answer.

Ikea to the rescue once again with some insanely well priced and fabulously cheerful fabric stuffed with three M&S polyester pillows for £2.50 each.  Comfy, comfy, comfy and if we need to replace every couple of years then no problem.  As it is they have had a real hammering over the last few months and are still in fantastic condition.
