Brad had not crossed the equator by ship before so should really have been shaved by King Neptune and had several buckets of seawater thrown over him but he declined this honour. Strange.
We expected to cross in the early hours of the morning so decided to open the champagne the night before.

As it transpired we actually crossed the line at 0850 in the morning so were all up and ready to mark the occasion. This time it had to be with a tot of rum. |
