We're off!

1900 on Wednesday and it is pretty clear that we are going nowhere.  Again we have heard nothing so, based on experience, we know this means that the parts did not arrive on the flight and we have another 24 hours at least.

We bite the bullet.  Mike phones to hear the bad news.

“I’m on my way, will be there in 15 minutes, all fixed!”

We are stunned.

We turn round on that sixpence again and go back to plan D, or was it E?    However keen we are to get out of here we don’t do marginal so decide to wait until the morning so that we can put the Chartplotter back into place in daylight.  Sort ourselves out in daylight and leave in daylight.  That plus the pending arrival of two plastic boxes that friends on another boat were picking up for us on their visit to Ikea today.  We only bought one when we went last week and it was just the perfect size so two more will be great.  These are the things we get excited about while waiting to actually do the really exciting thing and GO!

So, last post while we still have WiFi.  We will update the blog most days with our position and let you know how we are getting on.

“Now”, as Captain Jack (Sparrow, not Aubrey) would say, “bring me that horizon”.
