36:38.96N 025:22.17E Manganari Bay again Friday 27 Aug 10 Manganari Bay has very clear
water and a fabulous sandy bottom with no weed so is a good place to photograph
the anchor. If we can it is always reassuring to take a look at how well
the anchor has dug in and this one is a fine example of a very well dug in
anchor....... The anchor is bottom left
with just the ‘roll bar’ visible. The delta shaped plough
part is underneath the sand along with the first few metres of chain that just
comes visible towards the top right of the picture. While I had the camera out I took
a picture of the underneath of the boat showing keel, propeller, rudder and
swimming ladder. Yes, it really is that blue under the water. |
