My expectation was to be cooked dinner and share a glass of champagne.

All seemed to be going to plan until Dirk and Tom appeared in their dinghy rapidly followed by JM emerging from his cabin with a huge birthday cake. This must have taken some planning, research and side trips in order to get that onto the boat without me knowing.

The next surprise was that Brad and JM had bought a lovely necklace and matching earrings for me.

Rum and lime cocktails followed the champagne. Excellent.
