We had boobies on the bows last night, one each side right through to the morning.

We have now crossed the equator, it is traditional to offer thanks to the sea god; Poseidon, Neptune, Tangaroa whichever nonclementure takes your fancy. For me the oldest wins over, Poseiden - the Greek god of the sea.

So today we have had fun been preparing a few silly rhymes to recite.

We cross the equator, close is our rank
Traditional it is, Poseidon to thank
Disrespecting this god is cause to be sank.

We sail across the mighty ocean
Always wearing plenty of lotion
We even have pills to help with the motion.

On Moxie the cat
A blue booby sat
He pooped on the deck but was lovely to look at.

The marlin you sent
Had the rod very bent
Over the side my dad nearly went.

The toilet at night
It gave me a fright
Green glowing plankton don't usually bite.

This trip has been great
And we cannot wait
For the next tasty morsel to be on our plate.

Oh god of the sea
To thank thee
We offer you tea, from the company PG.

Wow, we are back in the Southern Hemisphere! 120 miles or so to go to Wreck Bay, St Christobel. We'll time our arrival for tomorrow morning.

The girls and I took a quick dip over the side this morning, Moxie is looking pretty clean down there and I even managed to retrieve my fishing lure!
