We are now at Omaha beach visiting some friends that we met in Greece. John and Erin also have a Salina and we travelled with them to Albania last year. They have treated us to the luxury of hot, endless showers a real treat, we haven't showered on land since Panama. Our generator died 3 months ago leaving us without much in the way of watermaking ability (rain is good) so running water is a joy indeed. Moxie is sitting on a mooring right outside John's house, we will be here for a few days then probably head north again.
I have been for 3 dives, even in my 7mm suit it's a chilly pastime in 15 degree water. Third time lucky though I managed to collect a feed of scallops. If you think that's stupid spare a thought for my brave friend James (Carpe Diem) who came with me without a wetsuit!
Good news on the generator front, Gustov (Caminante) patched up the generator which is now running again, not quite enough for the watermaker or compressor but heating water and charging batteries is a giant leap forward.
