Here's an example of the excellent service levels provided by Ed and the team at mailasail.

Hi

Hi, I’ve been trying to post a new blog entry but it’s not working.  I tried a few times then got so desperate that I even renewed my subscription, alas It looks like I’m doing something wrong.  My entire blog audience (my Mum) must be fraught with anxiety.

Other than you accidentally posted your secret blog posting email address (on the bottom of your facebook email), I can't figure out what your problem might be?  With regards to the facebook post I would recommend you delete that post and if the rest of the content is what you want people to see, then recompose a new email, but trim off all the footers and giveaway info off the message first. (Remember that the entire email is turned into the blog post, including footers and other stuff that might not be relevant if it's not an email anymore... You need to clean that stuff off manually basically)

There is nothing special needed to post to the blog though - just as long as your blog destination email is correct then it doesn't matter where you post the email from, it will appear on the blog.

If you still have problems then please come back and explain exactly what you are doing, what the results are and perhaps most importantly why you think it should do "something else" (!!) and I should be able to get you sorted?

And of course many thanks for resubscribing!

All the best

Ed W
