Dear Friends                                                "16:08.9N 61:34.0W"

We've spent an extremely lazy week at anchor in the shelter of the reef at "Ilet Fortune". The anchorage is exposed to the trade winds to keep the wind generator going and the bugs away, while the fringing reef keeps the water flat.

Despite the promising name of the island, a thorough search has failed to unearth any thing like a fortune, not a piece of eight or doubloon in sight! There were however two resident cats and a couple of chickens which had been settled there deliberately and seemed quite content.

Here's us and the island, you may just see the breakers on the reef in centre of pic.

Aside from lots of catching up on reading, I did get round to editing the video, which is now uploaded. It's on the front page of the website and is 24MB so may take a few minutes to download. Don't even attempt it if you're not using broadband!

Not much else to report this week: after nipping back into port to fill up with water and do laundry and shopping, we'll work our way round to the north coast of Guadeloupe and cross over to Antigua sometime next week. So the next post will probably come from there unless anything hugely exciting happens in the meantime.

Best Wishes
