Hello Friends
 
Just a brief blog today to let you know that we're in Menorca, having sailed half the way and motored the rest after the wind suddenly died in mid afternoon.
 
But we did see another whale half way across and skipper 'Reckless' Michael decided we needed a closer look, so we went closer. In fact we got to the point where it was actually rather close - one whale's length or about 30 metres.
 
We can all exclusively report that whales have very bad breath - we were that close - but what can you expect if you spend your life eating raw anchovies?
 
And for all you doubting Thomas's who don't believe us - wait until we get to an internet cafe to upload the video ......... the flukes fill the whole screen.
