Well we found the weather front and the wind.......we were making 7 knots
with a scrap of a jib........one squall after another all night and it rained
and rained. By four am we’d had enough and hove-to to sit out 42.3 knot
squall and we then after a snooze we didn’t get moving again until first
light. Forecast is for many days of squalls ahead......unless we
make passage for the Med as the weather en route is much less
breezy.......tempting!
The sun is out today so lots of damp sailing gear out to dry.......looks
like a laundry
