We've been here nearly a week and are just starting to work things out.

We have finally been able to buy some minced beef and we have yet to discover chicken. Goat and kid is popular and frequently on display but the fish is superb!

The wind never stops blowing, frequently it is over 30 knots and we had to move our berth in the marina yesterday as the pontoon started to break up under pressure of the gusts. Tonight Mark a British charter skipper joined us for drinks and has recommended a small hotel on the island Sao Antao for us to visit in the next few days.

We are steadily preparing for our Atlantic crossing and make daily shopping trips to stock up.
