We hauled up our anchor at 0620 and headed out through the Little Harbour Cut over the reef to leave the lovely Abacos.  We were expecting a reasonable breeze from the SW to take us to Eleuthera but it didn’t materialise and instead we motor-sailed all the way across the Providence Channel arriving off Little Egg Island at 1600.  Tonight we are anchored in a shallow natural harbour in Royal Island.......the anchor didn’t want to drop very quickly so instead of a relaxing beer in the cockpit we spent the next two hours chasing potential electrical issues. Nothing was found to be particularly wrong but all the connections were tightened and the windlass now appears to be working just fine, why we don’t understand.....hopefully the issue is resolved (‘til next time!)
