After a week of island hopping we crossed the shoal waters to arrive in Nantucket Harbour this afternoon.

 

The harbour is full of superyachts and the wealthy are parading around the harbour in their fancy launches......quite a show. 

We’ve chosen to anchor here as picking up a mooring buoy for the night would have cost us $75 (£50) and an alongside berth $300!

 

There once was a man from Nantucket,

Who kept all his cash in a bucket,

But his daughter, Nan,

Ran away with a man,

And as for the bucket, Nantucket.
