After a night that promised so much (wind) nothing happened so we motored steadily up the eastern seaboard in a flat calm with a Red Leicester moon following a tug towing a barge full of aggregate who was making marginally better progress than us.

The forecast for tonight through until Sunday is thunderstorms, lots of wind and inches of rain so we ducked into Ocean City where due to lack of water of sufficient depth we’ve gone into Sunset Marina that is full of sports fishing boats but only one other sailing yacht – but on the up side it has two super swimming pools, restaurants, live music and friendly staff. Tuna, marlin and crabs are cheap and plentiful!
