With only 200NM to go the problem now is not to get to Guanaja too early and risk making landfall in the dark especially as there are no navigation marks to aid our entry to the anchorage.   So today’s problem has been how to slow the boat down to a comfortable 5 knots when the strong breeze is encouraging her to romp away - unfortunately there isn’t enough wind enough to get us to Guanaja before daylight goes tomorrow.
We now have two reefs in the mainsail and three in the genoa and as the sun is shinning we are enjoying this rather slow passage in comfort.
