Hi all blogg readers!

Yesterday afternoon we arrived in Horta, after 16 days and 3 hours of sailing. We expected to be met by a cheering Norwegian crowd at the docks, but no one there! They were apparantly still sleeping out from their own arrival the day before!

It was a quite evening for the Maggy crew, after the mandatory visit to Peter's, and the long dreamt of showers, it was early bedtime.

Troels left this morning. Thanks for your company across the ocean! I will really miss you on the crossing to England!

Today has been washing day, cleaning the interior of the boat. Moana and Raj has done a great job at that, while Karen has been awarded the day of, since she has been working harder than most during the crossing. The forward hatches were leaking at the end of the trip, and needs to be repaired. The sad consequence of the leaks was a lot of salt water in the sail locker, so today I had to rinse of the sails and wash down the locker.

Safari arrived today, looking very happy!

Pictures and more fun stuff about the crossing will be posted during the next few days, so stay tuned!

Thanks to a wonderful crew. Karen has been a great cook and generally looking out for our wellfare. Troels has been a dedicated and competent sailor. He was always ready and eager on the deck and in the cockpit! Moana has been a great support with a lot of valuable ocean crossing experience. Raj has unfortunately suffered a lot from seasicknes, but he has always been in a good mood! Once we were properly docked he is a lot more eager to participate in tasks. They have all been great company, so different and so interesting!
