Anchor washdown missing

Our anchor wasdown system stopped working while in the Mediterranean. It´s saltwater based with an outlet from the seachest in the engineroom to a powerful Jabsco pump delivering saltwater to a faucet on foredack just by the windlass.

The system was never missed in the Mediterranean or in the Caribbean since you anchor on sandbottom. Doing the ICW along the US eastcoast where you anchor in mud we missed it every day.

Subsequently, while waiting for parts to the burned airocon reversed heating unit (fanmotor and temp sensor cable), I spent a day replacing all piping from Jabsco pump to faucet connection. Having discussed choice of material with plumbers already back home, this time I used PEM-piping. Testing the system 2 connections leaked but after replacing with brass fittings it all worked well. That was also the last PEX piping replaced onboard but let´s see how the PEM material behaves in 10 years....

(The pump on the last picture is for evacuating aircon condensed water for the front unit)
