Having a whole day in Athens before our flight to Stockholm we went to Akropolis.
Allthough not the worst high season yet it was overcrowded with people "floating" in endless lines with guards regularly screeming "keep on mowing-dont`t stop".
My main focus after a while was to find shadow and get out of line.I get overheated and stressed seeing all people "floating" in lines with grumpy faces and raised arms with cameras/phones shooting pictures like machineguns.
The best way for me to see Akropolis was to get out and see it from the hill where St Paul (Paulus) was preaching 51 a.d.
The experience industry is certainly back after the pandemia again travelling billions of people every year around the planet. Predicted already by Aldous Huxley in Brave New World from 1932,the experience industry must have an enormous impact on the environment from many different perspectives not least on inhabitants in exposed places. In Venice the inhabitants have started a protest movement.
