Skala Pathmos (the main settlement) was crowded so we dropped anchor in the bay of Koumana an easy dinghyride east of Skala.

In the bottom of the bay was an attractive taverna (seafood) situated so we took our paddleboards there for dinner and tied our paddleboards to the dock just beside our table.

We also had Bianca with us and for many other guests it was an amusement to see guests arriving with a dog on paddleboards (dogs are welcome everywhere in Greece).

The trip back in darkness after dinner was a bit more of a challenge but the uw lights from Megayachts in the bay helped.

For short rides the paddleboards are  easy to deploy and fun to use but in strong winds you must know what you are doing.
