The stove on Dora Mac is an Italian made General Gas with 1 electrical burner(220v) and 3 propaneburners. With increasing difficulties to provide Dora Mac with propane we use the electrical burner as much as we can while cooking.

Now the electrical burner stopped working and after dismounting the stove,lifting it out and taking away the cover from the backpart the reason for failure was obvious. The electrical box was completely corroded and some of the electrical connectors were eaten by corrosion.

Subsequently all connectors were replaced and the electrical box cleaned and soaked in anticorroison. Once put together it´s up working again.
