Dora Mac needs a repaint of her hullsides and subsequently I have been taking in quotes during the autumn.
Randal who has contacts in the paintindustry contacted Akzo Nobel and so I got in touch with Yachts-Service who are located in Estonia.
Their shipyard is on the island of Hiiumaa (Dagö) and coming home from surgerywork in Norway shipping forecast for the forthcoming two days was good.
Finding any friend available to crew with such short notice is difficult. Subsequently this lead to a singlehanded departure to cross the Baltic over to Estonia. Now leaving the Swedish coastline,only problem is Dora Mac surrounded by dense fog patches. The crossing should be around 28hrs and hopefully DM will be berthed in Kärdla harbour on Hiiumaa tomorrow evening.
