Sark is the last feudal territory in Europe. Allthough democratized in the early 2000 (due to pressure from the British government) the rule of Sark rests on constitutional documents from 1565. Still today the Signeur of Sark will swear obedience to the British crown directly.
Sark is reachable by boat but in settled weather only anchoring in one of the bays suggested by your pilotbook.
After fuel refill in St Peter Port we dropped anchor in one of the protected bays on the westcoast of Sark but for one night only. Allthough settled weather swell can be quite annoying and after a morning bath we weighed anchor and headed south towards Brittany and Camaret Sur Mer
