Being ruled by the Venetians for centuries part of Mykonos Town is called "Little Venice".

This is also supposed to be the most charmy part of town and in settled weather you can anchor outside. We made an attempt but after some hours anchored just west of town with an increasing Meltemi we relocated to the protected southcoast of Mykonos.

A visit to Litle Venice is a must but still now off the worst touristseason it was loaded with tourists and prices are double to triple to the rest of Greece.

We had had a leaking crack in the gasolinetank of the outboard and I went to the only marinechandlery on Mykonos.They were very scarcely sorted and did not have any outboardtanks ! Only way to get one was order from Athens with 1 weeks waitingtime.

Obviously Mykonos is not the place to solve any problems with your boat.

If you want expensive nightclubs though-this is the place.
