Mercedes and I returned to Malaga landing almost simultanously.
After a 3 hour busride we were back on Dora Mac well taken care of by our Norwegian neighbour Öyvind.
Scheduled for a surgeryassignment in Scotland October 31 we were on a tight schedule to reach Palma.
Day after arrival we went alongside Alcaidesa shipyard for a cleanout of 1200ltrs of fuel in the aft tank.
It took 2 hours to empty the tank ,filter, and refill in to tank 1,2,3 and 4.The fuel was surprisingly clean but still with visible clogs that apparantly have clogged the fuelline from aft tank.
Next stop was Cepsa fuel in Gibraltar where we filled up another 1.600litres of fuel (1,4Euros/ltr).
At 15.30 we were heading out to sea again heading for Palma de Mallorca (460Nm) with a forecast predicting weak easterly winds and calm seas. A great advantage is also the eastsetting current all the way to Cabo de Gata giving a spead over ground initially of 8kts.
