The last years I have noticed an ever increasing number of new digital accounts, more and longer passwords, an endless stream of systems for logging in, more and more services automated with no humans in the loop, more digital workload transfered from corporations to me (banks,insurance companies etc),  more mandatory checkboxes in every system, digital dependency also on a blue water cruising boat, "appification" of services that used to be served by humans (in Bodö harbour N.Norway there´s one app for harbourfees/electricity, one app for laundry, and one app to purchase hot water for the shower !!).

I also follow Yuval Harari who is a professor in history in Jerusalem and his remarcable resiliance travelling the world to lecture about risks with AI. 

AI masters language better than any human, made it´s first deliberate lie in 2017 and this year managed to hack in to the system of competitors. Right now the AI race is going fast and without any control from politicians (who wants to loose the race ) and with regenerative AI,  humans have not created yet another tool, but an independent agent. With current development the finance system will soon be entirely controlled by AI. If so, Homo Sapiens have created a tool of selfdestruction . A tool that became an agent with it´s own agenda.

Meanwhile humans are spending more and more time in virtual reality resembling The Matrix. In the Matrix you can choose the blue pill leaving you in a simulated reality where you can believe whatever you want and live comfortably. The red pill let´s you live in the true harsh reality and unplugs you from virtual reality.

What´s happening around all of us right now is the biggest change ever in the history of humanity and it´s going fast. We are not speaking centuries or decades but years.

I have already noticed on myself using AI daily how my ways of finding information have changed and subsequently my way of thinking.

What it is to be human will change dramatically the coming years and my fear is that it will not be for the good.......
