There are many Blue Caves in the Mediterranean (and probably in other places in the world as well) and many of them claim to be "The Blue Cave " of the planet. The one we have heard most of in the Med is the blue cave of the island of Capri in Italy. It claims (as well as some others ) ther be the most spectacular blue cave to be seen.
In Kastelorizo there´s a Blue cave as well not easily accessible but it´s visited by tourboats daily and on Kastelorizo it´s marketed as the most spectacular blue cave to be seen.
We went there an early morning before any of the tourboats and apart from being a bit difficult to find as well as to pass through it´s little opening to us this blue cave was truly spectacular and magic. The morningsun illuminates the water giving a magic blue colouration and the cave is huge once passing the entrance.
I had mask and fins and in the entrance to the cave were plenty of fish glimmering in the sun.
WOW !
