Waiting for a Raymarine MFD replacement and obligated to check out from Turks&Caicos we went on track with eyeball navigation over Caicos Bank entering the South Bank marina in high tide (entrance 1,5-2,1m).

This is a small marina with mainly local boats and only 2-3 cruisers and supposed to be among the cheapest (¨only¨100Usd/night+electricity and water).

FedEx had promised to deliver day after arrival to the marina but didn’t so we needed to stay over the weekend. The marina is outside Providence with a small cafeteria,a slow office and a small but reasonably well sorted marine store.

We decided to rent a car to see Providence, the “worlds most beautiful beach”¨,snorkel famous Smith’s reef and visit one of several restaurants serving conch shell food.

Not trusting FedEx for delivery we also needed the car to visit FedEx local office in Providence.

Looks like we are going to spend some days in the marina.
