A new cutlass bearing was installed and propellershaftseal as well as ruddershaftseal were taken out for inspection. Having 17 years on them and with a stiff rubber from aging new PSS shaftseals were ordered . The propeller was taken to the workshop for overhaul.

Unfortunately the shaftseals were not to be found on Malta and had to be ordered from the mainland meaning some days of delay.

That leads to a prolonged stay on the hard with increased costs as well as delayed departure from Malta.

Nevertheless,there´s plenty on the "to do list" to keep me busy in the meantime.
