Another day of sweat and tears

I needed to replace our leaking Qucik hot water tank for the new that just arrived.

We ordered the same one still in the Quick sortiment for ease of installation avoiding to redo all connections.

Still it took more than twelve hours to have it all up working. Testing the system the first time the brass fitting for hot water outlet had a crack in it leaking heavily.

Once everything was working I pressurised the expansion tank to just below the pressure of the fresh water pump switch and we now have hot water back working well.

Twelve hours in an engine room in Florida again is not good for health but employing a professional to do will dig a hole in the wallet.
