We came into the entrance of West Palm Beach at lunchtime. As expected traffic was heavy but once inside , the waterline on our port side was scattered with beautiful mansions by the sea.

After landfall at Riviera Beach marina we reported arrival on our CBP Roam app and were quickly granted time to present passports,ships documents and PET clearance documents.

It took us an hour with different CBP officers who were all kind,helpful and polite and once all bureaucracy was carried out we had a visa for 6 months (B1/B2 visa) , Cruising permit for Dora Mac valid 1 year (entitling Dora Mac to cruise freely without reporting arrival and departure in every anchorage), and Bianca checked into the USA without restrictions (they only asked for a filled in CDC form).

Longing for some descent supermarket we took an Uber to one of the big shopping malls and enjoyed being in a well sorted supermarket again (with reasonable prices and cheap in comparison with Turks&Caicos as well as Bahamas).

Moreover Mercedes took the chance to purchase brands much cheaper in the US than back home in Europe.

Once back on Dora Mac ordered spare parts were delivered by staff from the marina (new Quick hot water tank).
